Build It And They Will Come

Build It And They Will Come:

Asheville’s beauty and natural resources never cease to amaze, and here at Reynolds Mountain we have the privilege of enjoying unparalleled access to the charms of our wonderful community. With that in mind, the Sales Team is creating a “Green Team” with the purpose of contributing to the beautification of Buncombe County through a series of monthly “cleaning and greening” projects. Our goal is to volunteer 1000 man hours in 2008 with the help of Reynolds Mountain residents, family members and friends. Although we are in the earliest stages of planning this endeavor, we hope to move quickly towards organizing our “Green Team” and scheduling our first event. Stay tuned for more details!

36 Hours

36 Hours,   The New York Times weekly column highlighting weekend itineraries for cities world-wide, featured a compelling list of Asheville destinations (note that Bologna, Italy, was featured the week before, and Hamburg, Germany, the week after).  This is an extensive list of wonderful Asheville spots that are so incredible that even the locals can’t resist them, and yet there are so many more things to do– delicious independent restaurants to try, evening venues to discover, and daytime events and festivals to participate in.  So, while this seems to be an extraordinarily busy weekend itinerary, it actually isn’t far off from the weekend schedules that most of us in Asheville keep – there’s just so much to do, and always new things to discover, it’s just the nature of life in Asheville.

Thanks For The Warm Welcome!

I just wanted to add a quick hello to the blog, letting everyone know that I’ve joined the Sales Team up here on Reynolds Mountain.

We hosted a Porch Home kickoff event at the Sales Center yesterday and the visiting brokers were enthusiastic about the new concept and the development in general.  I am thrilled to be working with this organization and looking forward to watching the new town center grow up around us!

Looking forward to meeting all of you,

The Village In Progress

Only three and a half miles from downtown Asheville, The Village is coming alive before our very eyes.  Here, at the base of Reynolds Mountain, 250 homes of The Village will create a vibrant, bustling enclave that will nourish relationships and relaxation alike. Consisting of a new YMCA, retail shopping, restaurants, and a variety of condominiums cascading down the Mountain, The Village will present an attractive living and social environment for all to enjoy, complete with beautiful mountain vistas.  In the future, The Valley will invite all residents to enjoy nature via connecting trails that stretch throughout the community, leading through meadows and woodlands and to the waters of Beaver Creek and the beautiful French Broad River. Take a look at these recent photographs, showing the progress in making the vision that is The Village, at Reynolds Mountain.
